In Good Company….

What’s up Peeps! So check it this weekend absolutely took me back to a time in my life of reckless behavior and unexpected events.
Friday night I hit up the town of White Plains! Well White Plains Knocked Me The Fuck Out! It was actually refreshing to be out of the city and around people who just wanted to get smashed, are a bit ignorant and just want to have a good time. Whether it was 1 to many shots of tequila, the good music, the great company, or the ridiculous amounts of pre-gaming Friday night was one for the books. You know it’s a good night when you wake up, you look around and you’re like “what the fuck happened”
Saturday was supposed to be a low key evening for me being that I was hung over and unmotivated from Friday night and I did the exact opposite!  Me and the Lower East Side are not friends usually…However I completely stepped out of my element as I walked into 200 Orchard (a head banging, shit show). Was I prepared for what was going to happen? ABOSLUTELY NOT! The music was Rock, the bartender bought back (best part of the night) and a new phrase and breed of human was coined in reference to yours truly I was called a “GUIDESTER” by Ryan the bartender (this fucken guy! Lol) A “GUIDESTER” is a fusion of a Guido & a Hipster and that’s what I was doing I channeled my inner hipster but my inner guido overpowered the hipster by a long shot.
I’m not going to Lie when I walked into this hole in the wall I thought I was going to be there for 20 minutes and leave….WELL I was so wrong…a few strong drinks later I’m trying to slip the DJ a $20 to play some house or hip hop music instead of that head-banger shit he was playing….and it turned into a completely in appropriate conversation and set the mood for the evening. Saturday night was a perfect example of if you’re in good company you can be anywhere and have a great time, and that is exactly what happened.

We Still Got It…

So most of you who know me remember that I used to promote back in the day….I was one of the infamous DNA boys. This past weekend was a reunion that was beyond words. There was so much love and support towards that party at Cienna on Saturday that even if there was no alcohol and a Mexican mariachi band playing it would have still been a great success.
The night’s main focus was to bring back a feeling of when going out wasn’t about popping a ridiculous amount of bottles to get a table at the best spot, or having to deal with a dick head door guy who gets paid $9.00 to have an attitude, (we all know I get along great with those pricks) or having to deal with bullshit promoters who have no pull or clue what the hell they are doing.  We were about having fun, and anyone who attended our parties can honestly say they had a blast.
You know it’s a great night out when you see people you haven’t seen in years, old friends and new friends are rocken out hammered beating the beat(lol) , you are surrounded by gorgeous women, a few random and unexpected hook ups and you are just loven life!  Saturday night should have been a wakeup call that you don’t need to be in the best place in New York, or have the best table all you need is a good clean crowd looking to have a great time, and you can have fun anywhere. So a little side note to people promoting or wanting to get into it, “the crowd you bring represents you, the type of party you throw represents you, and the more people are happy the more props go to you….so just like any industry if the client is happy they will keep coming back”
To everyone who came out I thank you, and to my DNA Boys I dedicate this entry to you.
ROCK ON BITCHEZ!
